We get it , life is busy. Between work, family, and everything in between, finding time to read can feel impossible. And as a bookish girl reading should be a part of your daily routine.

If you’re finding it hard to make reading a habit, here are 10 simple steps to help you prioritize it every day.

  1. Make it part of your routine
    → Read for 10–20 minutes every morning or before bed — like brushing your teeth, but for your brain.
  2. Always carry a book
    → Whether it’s a physical book, eBook, or audiobook, having one on hand turns waiting time into reading time.
  3. Set a reading goal — but make it fun
    → Whether it’s 1 book a month or 10 pages a day, keep it light and motivating, not stressful.
  4. Create a cozy reading space
    → Make reading feel like self-care with your favorite blanket, drink, or playlist.
  5. Replace some screen time
