Conversation Topic

In today’s society, women are seen lifting each other up but still end up criticizing one another.

Why do you think that is?

What would you tell a girl you know that criticizes women often?

Before giving any advice I usually like to ask questions to try to understand the person better. I would ask questions like: where is this really coming from? Or What gives you the right ? Lol

But regardless of how that conversation goes, at the end I would encourage the woman to do better and to uplift instead of bringing down.

Not everyone thinks and feels the same things so that is very important.

A community where women work and lift each other is a thriving community! Because together we can and will achieve more.

Being happy for another women’s success without searching for any flaws will never make you less successful or make her better than you.

Seriously and that’s what many fail to understand

So they have the tendency to always seek for flaws in other’s which leads to criticism.

For this topic, I believe they are many women out there who judge other women on their clothes, weight and even level of success. Some women feel like it’s a competition between them and another woman.

Mainly because they are not confident enough in who they are and kind of feel threatened by their fellow woman

True – also lot of these women don’t have good roles and don’t know any better

Yes, and it’s quite sad on how some women feel like it’s totally normal to criticize other women.

Yes oo. Or perhaps they feel that some are more superior

yess, so many women feel like if they are successful then the other woman is superior than her so it becomes a competition in her head.

Sometimes, it’s the level of education that normally triggers that. When some ladies who aren’t very educated see ladies who are, they tend to compare themselves to them

Yes, I agree with that to some extent. It’s true, even speaking from experience.

True – A lot of the criticism often comes from women with insecurities and low self esteem unfortunately. Often times, certain women view the success of another woman as a reflection of what they are not but aspire to be

I Feel There Is So Much Power In Each Woman… And Together We Can Use That Force For So Much Good.

I would actually use this opportunity to advice that all women should see each other as 1 as they go through the same experiences, similar challenges in life. Lifting each other up should be the status quote for women. Everyone has insecurities here or there but it is important that it does not take a hold of our actions. We should be like Deborah in the Bible. A leading example for our fellow women. Thank you.

On the other hand, this doesn’t apply to all women. There are women out there who actually want to see their fellow colleagues succeed and grow together.

I think when it comes to cases as these, sometimes women tend to be insecure and in turn pour out their frustration on other woman but cover it up as though they are in support.

For this topic, I think it depends on women. I believe that there are women who genuinely want others to succeed and other women that just do not want to see other women doing better than them and therefore they would criticize everyone that they think is doing better than them.
