The women in my life are strong and wise, they never give up.

They survived betrayal and swam through oceans of enemies.

Healed themselves from the bites of the most vicious snakes.

There’s not a man on earth who could bring down my women, defeat my women.

How could I not look up to these women?

Who made gold out of mud, sugar out of dust, honey out of tears.

Fed me with knowledge, built me with the stones that have been thrown at them, crowned me with the roses they never were gifted with.

No one can maneuver through life the way they do.

The only part we know is how life gets so much easier when they take our problems as their own,

When we’re the ones benefiting from their selflessness.

The women in my life,

They heal wounds, they lead troupes, raise kings, nurture queens, stoke fires of love, and douse the ones of pride.

How could anyone ever question the strength of someone brave enough to carry for months someone who is not promised to love them back… properly.

Something indescribable happens every time I manage to channel their energy…

The women in life… the ones everywhere on earth, I want you to know how much I love you and that no word can carry the weight of so much divinity
